My love and I

I’ve found my love, and my love has found me.
We’re not exactly a pair, but that’s not always necessary.
When we speak, we speak from miles apart
and yet something about the distance screams symbiosis,
similarities ring louder than differences, opinions that hold certain truths to us both.
My love and I have found one another
a chance meeting that evolved into life and a future.
Destiny isn’t real,
nor is ‘the one’,
but chemistry holds too much honesty,
likenesses hidden in plain sight.

I’ve found my love, and my love has found me.
